A little back story…

After the birth of my daughter Florence in September 2023, I filled my days with endless coffee meet ups. Whilst the ongoing stream of caffeinated drinks was very much welcomed (especially after those long restless nights!) I was also keen to get moving and start to feel strong again having had quite an active pregnancy.

So 3 months after Florence was born, I created Sling Fit; a space for you and your little one to feel welcome, safe and confident in your return to exercise whilst at the same time providing you with an opportunity to meet other new mums in the local area!

Over a 6 week period we will focus on rebuilding and restoring your strength and cardiovascular fitness with a particular focus on low impact deep core and pelvic floor work. Whether you’re recovering from a vaginal birth, an assisted delivery or a C-section, as a new mum myself and a pre & post natal expert, I’m here to help you feel strong again and prepare you for the endless demands of motherhood. Classes will be a fun and interactive welcome back into exercise and everyone is encouraged to take it at their own pace, with multiple options and modifications offered.

You’re welcome to bring baby in a carrier or sling facing in for a nap, or outwards to watch the class, or you can place baby on the play mat provided with toys whilst you focus on your lunges and squats! Don’t forget to bring water, light weights, and dress yourself and baby appropriately!

Join us every Tuesday up on Holloway Hill at the Busbridge Recreation Ground from 10:30am - 11:30am followed by coffee/tea and cake at the Pavilion by Howling Owl.

Sling Fit 6 week course: Β£75 OR Pay as you Sweat Β£15 per session

Week 2: Deep Core Connection

Week 3: Sculpt Cardio to the Beat

Week 4: Upper Body and Tabata Training

Week 5: Balance Work & Planes of Motion

Week 6: Full Body Strength & Post Partum Movement Test
